In-game Description[]
The use of this technology temporarily makes a designated sector of space invisible to spaceship scanners. Under its shelter, an undercover base can be built for troops to hide in during enemy attacks, if necessary.

This technology is deprecated. It no longer exists.
Instead, the player is required to build one Undercover Base at the start of the game, as part of the tutorial.
